What's the Difference Between Article Stalker and Automatic Blog Plugin?

There seems to be some confusion as to exactly what Article Stalker is and what it is to be used for. In brief, Article Stalker is a script that goes to some article directories which allow you to grab their aritcles and AS places them on your server in a database. You can collect articles by category and subcategory and grown your database of articles slowly over time.

Next you use an autoblogging wordpress plugin like Slick WP Autoposter to put the articles on your blog. There are a handful of autoposting wordpress plugins around but in my opinion Slick WP Autposter is perfect for working with ARticle Stalker...... plus Ed is the creator of both and any future upgrades will be done to compliment each other. You won't find a software provider with better service than Ed.... another reason to stick with Slick WP Autoposter and Article Stalker.

Someone recently had a question wondering about the difference between Article Stalker and Automatic Blog Plugin ....really not a very appropiate question because one is just a script for grabbing articles and the other is a wordpress plugin for autoposting or autoblogging...... anyway, Ed answers the question below.
Hi Ed, how is Article Stalker different from the Automatic Blog Plugin? To me it seems the're doing the same thing
Ed Answers:

Yes and No - Mostly No

Article Stalker first is not a plugin, so you can use any RSS poster you already own to autopost the articles.

Article Stalker has access to many more directories to pull articles from, presently over 2 million articles reside on the directories on version one.

The update will have another million articles available with more to be added.

One of the major flaws that has been pointed out by owners of Automatic Blog Plugin is lack of articles this will not happen with Article Stalker.
So even though they appear similar Article Stalker is a content gatherer on steroids.

I hope this clears the difference.

How Many Articles Should I Post Per Day with Slick WP Autoposter

In my opinion, when it comes to posting articles to a blog, you really need to vary to number of posts and have some type of randomness. Slick WP Autoposter allows you to do post on a random level using articles you've harvested with Article Stalker, and I think you really need to use this feature in any type of autposting setting. Someone asked Ed a question about posting articles.....here it is:
How may articles / RSS feeds of this type can one safely post to a blog on a daily basis?

I already have one autopost script that is posting a single article per day to my blogs. I don't want to have my blog labeled as spam... what do you suggest for blogs that are not getting any unique content posted.

Hi

I vary the amounts all over the place and it don't matter unless your posting like maybe 30 post a day, but I don't think that would matter either.

I post between 3 to 10 times per day but I am using different content, I may post 3 article, 2 affiliate products, 2 news feeds etc... so its not just articles, I vary the content.

Not sure what you mean by suggest for not having unique content

the key here google looks at the whole page not just your content so if you can add something that adds value and unique go for it

These articles that Article Stalker extracts for you are useful articles not some cheap plr articles, they are many times well written and keyword rich.

Keep in mind Article Stalker makes it easy to extract the articles so you can find the right ones for your niche

I just did a extract yesterday for a general topic and pulled over 20,000 articles from there I will narrow the articles down by specific keywords.

Hope this helps.

Article Stalker Autoblogging Conent Question

It's amazing, but Article Stalker comes with over 2 million articles so you can start autoblogging right away..... on just about any subject! Often times autoblogs are used to create traffic for a main site, but then again, autoblogging can be a source of income in and of itself. You won't find many solutions that provide full articles via rss feeds, article stalker does just that, you get the full article giving your site that needed content, something that most autoblogging solutions do not provide.
Hi Ed,

I purchased your Slick WP plugin when it was first offered so I'm considering this script to use with it.

I'm curious about how updates will be delivered and how often they are likely to be needed.

I know the main program is sent on CD but how will updates be sent out ?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve

I am delivering the updates after signup for the updates they will be delivered by email

The updates will be for user interface upgrades and when I add more directories

Article Stalker comes out of the box with over 2 million articles and will have another 1 million with the next update.

In General the updates don't need to be done very often

I am also planning in doing a new rewrite of the engine to extract the articles with more options

hope to see you on board

One More Article Stalker Testimonial

Here's another testimonial from a happy Article Stalker user:

Just wanted to throw in my two cents about this product.

Article Stalker works exactly as described and I can see numerous uses for it. Initially my aim was just to use this on feeder blogs, but with the results Ed has shown I'll probably end up using it to supplement a few money blogs as well.

The script itself is easy to install and just as easy to use. Everything is well laid out and the interface is pretty intuitive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for content to add to their blogs.

And with the improvements Ed has planned this will only get better.

I should also mention that Ed's customer support has been nothing short of outstanding. I have sent several emails and his replies are almost immediate and very thorough.

If you are on the fence about this one, get it and you won't be disappointed.

How Many Copies of Article Stalker is Necessary

Article Stalker Question about installing multiple copies of the Article Stalker Script.

Thanks Ed, now I understand better. It sounds good.
So I need only one installation of Article Stalker and
all my blogs on various servers can pull the content from it.

Yes you only need one installation

and once you create a RSS feed then you can use the RSS feed any where you please

The RSS feed becomes independent of Article Stalker once it is created.

There is no tie to Article Stalker with the RSS feed.

In order to do updates you will have to go to Article Stalker find the relevant articles to fit your niche then create a new RSS feed and again insert it where needed.

Just a note: Once you insert the RSS feed into lets say Wordpress in almost all cases it is scheduled in the future post part of Wordpress. If you were to go and look at all scheduled post you will see the articles all ready to be posted in the future.

Article Stalker Review Questions

This question might help you understand what Article Stalker is and does, Ed Chiasson, the creator of Article Stalker Answers the question below. FYI, Article Stalker provides an RSS feed with complete reprint articles that can be used in many autoblogger or autoblogging scripts and wordpress plugins.
Ed,

I see the value in the ammount of keyword rich content that Article Stalker can harvest. I just need to understand a little bit better how it works.

An autoposter that uses RSS e.g. from an article directory searches for new items in the rss feeds and as the new items (articles) appear, it posts them to a blog. So there is a flow of new items to a blog.

Let's say I harvest 1000 articles for a given keyword using Article Stalker and article stalker creates a feed from it. Is the principle of pulling new items from that feed same as it were the feed from article directory? I mean, I have now 1000 articles somewhere, but I need the system to pull a couple of them at a time and post to my blog. Does it work in that way?
Will you explain?

Also, how many installations of Article Stalker can we have?
Ed's Answer:

Article Stalker harvest the articles and creates a rss feed for autoposting that's it.

I designed Article Stalker to be used for any autoposter out there that uses rss feeds for autoblogging. Anyone can create a blog that is considered an autoblogger.

Many people already own rss feed posters that can utilize the rss feeds

In addition there is several free solutions for posting rss feeds to blogs, just have to Google.

So in essence you have 2 different things happening in your question each piece is not tied into each other for self updating.

Once you have inserted the 1000 articles into your autoposter, the poster will schedule out the posting into the future.

I use my own poster Slick which I am running a WSO presently, I add my articles into Slick then I have it schedule out the articles over time. I may not have to add any new articles for several months when this happens I go to Article Stalker pick more articles then add the RSS feed into Slick and then I set for another long period of time.

You add as many articles into the autoposter for the amount of time you wish to have a hands off solution for posting into a blog.

I hope this answers your questions if not continue to ask.

As for how many computers you can install Article Stalker that is up to you but I don't see why you would want to do this, you are building up your own database of articles to pull from. Having Article Stalker installed somewhere else is only more work for you building up a database.

My Note:

You'd be wasting your time by installing the script in more than one location because you will probably end up with 100's of thousands of articles.

Don't forget that Article Stalker is perfect for creating autoblogs and doing autoblogging..... use with any autoblogging plugin that uses rss feeds. If you need one, Ed has one called Slick WP Autposter that is excellent, not only does it handle multiple rss feeds, but it allows you to take your existing plr articles and convert them to rss feeds for autoblogging and in this package Ed shows you how to use affiliate data feeds and create an autoblog with the affilaite datatfeeds. Everything is included in Ed's Slick WP Autoposter Package.

My Testimonial for Article Stalker

Thought I'd post my personal testimonial for Article Stalker.

Article Stalker is a script that collects reprint articles from article directories and is the brain child of Ed Chaisson.

Here's the big benefit of Article Stalker. Everyone knows that blogs need constant fresh content, that can be repurposed content in any form and reprint articles are perfect for this. You can keep a blog fresh with the feed from Article Stalker or you can create an entirely new blog with Article Stalker and Slick WP Autoposter ...... the reason you would want to use Slick WP Autoposter is because of the fact that you can create as many rss feeds as you want and mix them together, simply set the time of posting as the same time and the articles, blog posts, or snippets will intermix creating a truly unique blog!

That last sentence could be worth $1000's of dollars to you if you follow my advice..... but be happy because most will read it ..... maybe file it away or completely dismiss the strategy :)

Anyway, here's my testimonial for ARticle Stalker spoken from the heart.

Hi Ed

I wanted to give you a testimonial for Article Stalker....and I really hate those hypey, over-the-top, hard sell type testimonials....but I'm really having a hard time keeping myself low keyed about this!

First, your videos and pdf instructional guides were top notch. I created the database and installed in less than 5 minutes!

I fired up Article Stalker for the first time and grabbed around 5000 articles about Website Design....unbelievable. Next I downloaded the .xml file (rss feed) and fired up Slick WP Autoposter with the new rss feed.

That's it...the pressure is off, I don't have to worry about posting to one of my WP blogs because Article Stalker is on the job :)

Reprint Articles Rock....especially since the masses have literally forgotten about them.

With a little research one can figure out how to use the RSS feed to autopost to Blogger Blogs, wordpress.com blogs, Xsitepro sites and standard html sites. In other words the content could be used over and over.

Here's a little secret strategy. Embed an "Ad" in the body of the article or before or after the article. Great way to advertise affiliate programs or get links back to specific blogs or sites. It takes a little work but with the "search" feature in a notepad editor you can edit a 200 article rss feed in 15 minutes, 30 at the most.

Great job on Article Stalker, this will be one of those tools I'll use forever....I don't think RSS feeds will every go away :)

Thanks for your efforts,

Scott Parat
